Christine LeRose (VanBoven)

Christine VanBoven, 69, Kenosha, died Saturday, Feb 1, 2014 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.  Christine was born on April 7, 1944 in Kenosha.  She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1962.  In 1969 she married Charles Anderson.  They later divorced.  She then married Richard VanBoven who preceded her in death in 2001.  Christine worked for over ten years as manager at Lambs Farm and worked for a time at First BankSoutheast.  Gardening was a hobby of hers and she loved to "pound dirt", growing vegetables and rose bushes.  She was especially fond of her pet dogs. Christine is survived by her son, Jason Anderson, her borther Anthony "Tony" LeRose and her sisters Mary Maklo and Ruth Ley. "Rest In Peace Christine".

Although I only knew her briefly I remember that she went out of her way to make us feel

welcome as transfer students. I'm sure that more rewards are coming your way in this
