After high school graduation, I went to Madison and graduated with a degree in Art Education. I taught art for four years in Oregon, Wi. My husband then got his Phd and we moved to Fort Atkinson Wi. where we currently live. We raised three children and have 4 grandsons who live in Rochester, MN. I was very active in scouts and Campfire girls when my children were young as well as in our church. I taught art at three schools in 3 different towns for 10 years and more. I am currently in AAUW, Woman's Club, a book club, and our church choir. As an artist, I work in fused glass and exhibit my work in a local gallery as well as art shows in the state. I enjoy traveling and like to experiment with cooking.
