Bill and I are both retired and live by Castle Rock Lake. Enjoy boating, swimming, etc. in the summer. We have three grandchildren, Brittany, 21 in CA, Cynthia, 14 in Memphis, and Fionnula, 3 in Lafayette, IN. So we don't get to enjoy the real traditional "grandparent" thing, but love it when we can be together.

We moved to Pensacola FL July of 2016 and live near our son, Scott. Nice not having to worry about snow, ice and cold anymore! So much to do down here all year long!...I'm saddened to say Bill passed away on Feb 18th after 55 years of marriage...My soul mate, best friend, great father, grandfather and great grandfather...We had so many great times at our class reunions and still love hearing about all the classmates!!

Remember great times with Barb Aune, especially the year we did a science project together. We worked on the effects of different products on hair. Her siamese cat kept howling and we just had a lot of laughs.
I was also getting in trouble in Spanish class for laughing all the time . Sent out in the hall a couple of times for it. Problem is, I still get laughing jags at wrong times. Some things never change. Loved the Sadie Hawkins dances. Had a good time with Hector our exchange student. I spoke spanish very fluently with him and loved to dance with him. Band trips and half time performances for football games were great. Also remember being in a kick line for the talent show and my skirt busted right in the middle of it and started falling. I don't remember who was next to me, but thankful she was as her arm around my waist held the darn thing up. The one thing I remember that I hated was going from pool class, getting to other side of the school only to go outside and have my hair freeze in winter to get to the 3rd floor in the annex. In time for the next class, that is.
