The picture says it all about Albert.  That smile was awesome and infectious.  He was a joy to be around.  As Tom White stated, the Basketball Junior High Tournement, which the team won, lead by Albert , was a wonderful time.  He could really play basketball.  God is getting one of our BEST...  Rest in Peace my friend.  I will be seeing you soon buddy, but not yet.   Not yet...

So sorry to hear this news.  Talked a long time with Al at our 50th reunion.  Like Joyce and Shirley, Al was a favorite dance partner at Dry Dock and high school dances.  He was always kind and had a big smile.  Much love to his family and may he rest in peace.

I can only echo Rose Marie's comments - I too grew up with Al from First Communion at the old Mt. Carmel Church to working with him at Gateway Technical College.  My sympathy to his family.

I'll miss his sense of humor and his hugs.  He always had a smile and I loved running into him at the Y and around town.  A truly good man!

Indeed Al was "one of the good guys". I've known AL since the days we suffered through cataclysm, first communion, and the early days of Mount Carmel. Playing ball in Columbus Park, the summer Fr Tag was in Italy and Fr Whitiman forgot to signup the Mt Carmel team into the league - we won every game that summer, yet could not advance. Homeroom through HS. Albert you always kept me/us laughing, and your infectious smile lit up the room causing everyone around you to lightenup inturn.

Whenever I was around Al it was as if nothing had changed, as if no time had elapsed.
One of the funniest memories I recall from our 50th reunion - we sat huddled for a while. Then out of nowhere -  He looked around the room and as if to say, 'we're the only young ones here' he said in Italian, "Mother of God, look how old everyone looks." and he laughed hard and deeply. One of the many memories I'll hang onto forever.
What a great guy, I will truly miss his infectious smile and humor.

Linda and the family, God Bless - you are in my prayers, Nick

I met Al in homeroom junior year when I came to Bradford from St. Joes. Al and I hit it off right away and we've been together ever since. We played softball, golf and racquetball and traveled extensively. We both loved warm weather and last year at this time we went to our winter home in Arizona and even though Al knew he had cancer we didn't tell anyone and he was able to relax for a couple of weeks. Al always made every day with him fun and he could negotiate a deal better than anyone. We attended the funeral yesterday and we know that Al will be remembered by his wife Linda his son Chris his grandchildren TY and Talia and his many friends and family.

Al Andrioli has been a friend of mine since second grade.  He was the greatest dancer.  Every time we met it was a long,  long conversation  catching up on what was happening  in our families.   I an so sad for his untimely passing.  Never drank, smoked and was an avid  runner.  I am going to miss him.  Sympathy to his beautiful family.  May he rest in peace.
