Comments:

Married Ken Hansen in 1965; Moved to Presque Isle, Maine in 1966 where I worked for 2 years as a legal secretary to the City Attorney; Moved to Tachikawa, Japan in 1968, Moved back to Kenosha in 1969; Held various jobs at the UW-Extension Center and as a legal secretary during which I gave birth to 3 beautiful children. Divorced in 1985; moved to Concord, CA (in the San Francisco East Bay) in 1985 and got a job as a legal secretary for the AAA Corp Counsel in San Francisco. I left that job to be closer to my kids in Concord taking a job with the corporate development office of Bank of America in Concord. Worked there for a few years until I accepted a job as the office manager of an environmental engineering firm in Walnut Creek. Worked there for 5 years until I became an owner/partner in an Alternative Healing Center in Pleasant Hill. Ran the center for a couple of years, met Victor through the Center and together we decided to tour the country presenting empowerment workshops that we developed. When we returned after a couple of years of touring, Victor and I started our publishing company (Open Heart Press) and our web development/graphic design business (CustomDynamic.net). We were married in 1999. Together we have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. School Story:

My dad served 20 years in the Air Force and retired in 1961 when we moved from Arkansas to Kenosha in the middle of my Junior year. I didn't know anyone at Kenosha High School and felt kind of alone until I met Candy (Olesen) Parise who took me under her wing and invited me to join the Alpha Aurora girls club. It was there that I met three other lifelong friends, Suzette (Arnoldini) Englund, Nancy (Walton) Julien and Marikay (Burmeister) Chiappetta, all of whom were seniors at the time. Marikay actually got me an afterschool job at an upscale women’s clothing store (Korf’s) where she and i worked together in the stockroom (for 75¢/hour). I have fond memories of the times the five of us had together. It is also where I met my first husband, Ken Hansen, in English class. Our relationship developed when we both attended the Kenosha Extension Center and were married on August 21, 1965. Suzette stayed at my parents' house with me the night before my wedding so she could do my hair and veil the next morning in preparation for our 10:30AM ceremony.

Suzette and I have recently initiated monthly Zoom calls in order to stay up-to-date with each other's lives.

I've been recently digging into my ancestry. On this Mother's Day I made the attached graphic of my Paquette Motherline starting with my grandmother and ending with my two daughters who have blessed me with 7 grandsons, but alas no granddaughters... so the Paquette Motherline ends with them.
